“Chaturamal : ASEAN Quest” is a 2D interactive ‘ASEAN’ multimedia learning with bright and beautiful graphic for those who are interested in ASEAN, especially for 6 – 9 year old students. Learners can study online by themselves from PC, Windows and OSX, and tablet, iOS and Android, versions. And also learned from group activities in class.
This program can be divided into 2 parts,
1. Content, we will suppose learner into one of 4 animals follow by our story.
Once upon a time, there were 4 animals, lion, hawk, tiger and elephant. They migrated from droughty land to fertile land, ASEAN. Unfortunately, in this land had black dragon, who was influenced person of the area. It wanted to compete about ASEAN knowledge with the cleverest one of them. From the leadership of all of 4 animals, they wanted to be that one. Then they go to study 9 topics about ASEAN:
o All About ASEAN
o ASEAN Charter
o ASEAN Community
o ASEAN General Data
o ASEAN’s National Flowers
o ASEAN’s National Languages
o National Dress of ASEAN Members
o ASEAN’s Famous Places
o ASEAN Free Jobs
For competed “ASEAN Quest” and fight with black dragon.
2. The game “ASEAN Quest”, it promotes teamwork and interaction between learners. A game wanted players colonize all of the ASEAN Countries for going to be ASEAN King, it can be learning activity in class or friends. Moreover this game also play online in PVP mode, 2 – 4 teams that we divided players into 4 teams from our story.
So students can study and play game through this program, then teacher also can be parts of permitting learning for students. In teacher mode, all of contents are unlocked for teachers can plan their lesson plan. Teachers can check student’s points by fill school name and class, presented in table by class.
And in the “ASEAN Quest”, teachers can add ASEAN questions into database for evaluated students.
